Photos of Air Power Expo 2014 continue to leak out slowly. I just don't have time to edit them all right now. I could have done with some blue sky. It was a typical hazy Texas day.

I saw them years ago, and they were fantastic. I hope to see them again soon, but I think everyone should see them at least once in their life, there's nothing like seeing those stunts live and in person, and even more incredible is the sound!

I just watched them practice this morning. They were amazing! For an extra air of intrigue, one of the pilots had his cable hook stuck deployed. When he landed, their was quite the sparky light show

Where did you watch them practice? They had a glitch in their Sunday performance at Ft. Worth. Half way through the show, the No. 1 jet landed and the announcer said he had a "navigational" issue and that it would take off in 4 minutes. So the other planes did laps while they waited, and he eventually took off and completed the show. The No. 6 had to land ahead of the others, though. I think he probably got low on fuel doing those extra laps.

The naval base in Pensacola FL. They practice every Tuesday and Wednesday morning through the summer. There's a fantastic museum, too. I would have stayed all day if I could have. And it's all free.

Nah, the Blues won't be flying Super Hornets for quite some time. They only recently transitioned to the C model.
